2. Intended recipients and confidentiality
An email and its attachments may contain confidential, personal or legally privileged information intended for the named recipient. If you receive a message in error, please notify the sender and delete it where reasonably possible. Avoid using, copying or disclosing information that you are not entitled to receive.
Confidentiality or privilege depends on the circumstances and applicable law. This notice does not create legal privilege where it would not otherwise exist or prevent a disclosure required or protected by law.
3. Authority and agreements
Statements made in a personal capacity are not necessarily Infraweb’s views. Only a person with appropriate authority may make commitments on behalf of Infraweb. Quotations, instructions, approvals and contracts must be interpreted in their full context and in accordance with the parties’ agreed processes.
Electronic communications can have legal effect. This disclaimer does not invalidate a contract, signature, notice or other communication merely because it is electronic, and does not override a binding agreement or applicable law.
4. Security and payment verification
Email can be delayed, intercepted, altered or impersonated, and attachments can contain harmful material. We take reasonable precautions but cannot guarantee that every message is complete, secure or free from malicious code. Use appropriate security controls and verify unusual instructions independently.
Confirm any unexpected change to banking details, payment instructions, passwords or access arrangements through a previously established, trusted channel before acting. Do not rely solely on contact details supplied in a suspicious message.
5. Personal information
We process personal information contained in correspondence for legitimate business communication, service delivery, administration, security and legal compliance, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Send only information reasonably needed for the matter and use an agreed secure channel for particularly sensitive information.
If you believe a message has exposed personal information to the wrong recipient, notify the sender or legal@infraweb.co.za promptly so that the incident can be assessed.
6. Responsibility and contact
Any limitation of responsibility is subject to applicable law and the relevant agreement. We do not exclude liability that the law does not permit us to exclude. This notice does not limit your statutory rights or excuse fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
